In the Pocono Mountains, the phones are already ringing off the hook as the 2014 production season begins.  Last year there were over 45 productions completed in the region and this year promises to surpass last year's numbers.  Some of this year's highlights, so far, include Red Storm East - The Battle of Scranton in April, the launch of a new film festival in Honesdale slated for November 10th called The Short Spooky Film Festival, Sundance's Fast Forward Film Series shown throughout the region, an independent Feature Film confirmed for the area, and a major studio feature film checking out the area.  The reason so many people like to shoot in the Pocono Mountains is summed up nicely by the Executive Producer of Programming for AOL.com, Brian Balthazar, in the video below.
